PepsiCo installs energy monitoring system
PepsiCo has been present in Portugal since 1972, when it introduced the 7UP brand to the Portuguese market. At its site in Carregado, Ewen installed a monitoring system in three functionalities of the production unit (compressed air, nitrogen and steam). Sensors were placed to measure the electrical consumption and flow of each of these utilities. As a result, PepsiCo now has real-time access to the specific consumption of these plants.
