The Intensive Energy Consumption Management System applies to Intensive Energy Consuming (IEC) installations that in the immediately preceding calendar year had an energy consumption equal to or greater than 500 tons of oil equivalent (500 toe/year), with the exception of cogeneration installations legally autonomous from their energy consumers.

What can be achieved with the SGCIE

• Ensure legal compliance
• During the period of the Agreement for the Rationalization of Energy Consumption (ARCE) you are exempt from paying ISP.
• Encouraging the adoption of energy efficiency measures.
