An Ewen audit of a data center includes a complete thermal profile.

Accurate analysis of airflows and temperatures in a data center is difficult to achieve without using CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) tools. This Ewen tool includes hardware and software to collect and analyze thousands of temperature and humidity measurements in a data center. This data, once analyzed, is made available to our customers in highly interactive dashboards available via the Internet.

What results you will get

• 3D visualization of temperature profiles in the Data Center, including thermal profiles at the entrance and exit of the racks;
• Measured values of temperature and humidity, presented graphically in a psychrometric diagram, allowing verification of compliance with the envelopes recommended by ASHRAE for each class of Data Center;
• Recording of airflows from the floor grilles outlet;
• Visualization of occupancy rates and lack of fence plates per rack and slot;
• IT Power versus air temperature at the inlet and outlet of each rack;

The climate control system is also part of the analysis.

Ewen's team analyzes the entire air conditioning/cooling system, providing recommendations to improve its effectiveness and efficiency, including the use of free-cooling, if available or feasible.
