Geberit relies on Ewen as a partner for energy efficiency
Geberit relied on Ewen as a partner in the area of energy efficiency. The work carried out by Ewen for the Geberit Portugal production unit has produced rigorous reports with measures to effectively reduce energy consumption, which are currently being implemented.
Over the last few years, Ewen has carried out various audits for Geberit Portugal, including: Detailed energy audit; Execution and progress reports on the evolution of energy rationalization plans (submitted to the DGEG); Official energy audit (submitted to the DGEG for approval, in accordance with DL71/2008); Audit of the compressed air plant; among others.
These audits identified a potential reduction of around 12% in Geberit Portugal's energy consumption.
Geberit with energy efficiency training
As a result of the energy audit, Ewen was also invited to develop in-house energy efficiency training to make the Geberit Portugal team aware of corrective measures that can be easily implemented in production processes.
The advantages of this bet
There are many advantages to this: cost reduction and energy bill savings, optimization of energy consumption and other parameters and identification of points for improvement. These audits also provide a technical and economic analysis of measures to reduce energy costs and draw up a plan to rationalize energy consumption.
