It is a global public transport company operating in several countries that, in Portugal, is present through its subsidiary, Transdev Portugal, which operates public transport services in several regions of the country, with a special focus on the North and Center regions. It is one of the main players in the road passenger sector in the country. The company's activity is in the road and river sectors, holding 17 companies, as well as stakes in Internorte, Intercentro, Rede Nacional de Expressos, Renex and Rodoviária do Tejo.

With around 1,900 employees and a fleet of more than 1,500 vehicles, turnover reached €104 M in 2022 in Portugal alone.
