About PSA Group

PSA Group, now known as Stellantis after its merger with FCA, has operated in Portugal since 1962, when Peugeot established a plant in Mangualde. From 1980, Citroën also began producing vehicles at the same facility. Today, the Mangualde plant produces light commercial vehicles of the Peugeot and Citroën, Opel and Fiat brands. The plant also produces components for other plants in the group.

Now 60 years old and with 1.5 million vehicles produced, the plant produces 357 vehicles a day, working three shifts. It employs around 900 staff.
