Of the measures suggested, Gierlings Velpor chose to implement a damper in the dedusting system and a variable speed fan. Flexible insulation was added to the steam network and the exhaust system was optimized with temperature and humidity control of the louvers.

These measures have the continuous support of Ewen, which has resulted in the constant introduction of improvements and fine-tuning of control systems, reducing specific consumption by 5%, reaching an overall reduction of 40% compared to the pre-project period.
