To join Ewen team in Oporto we are looking for:
PROJECT ENGINEER JUNIOR – INDUSTRIAL ENERGY EFFICIENCY

This Project Engineer Junior will be responsible for visiting potential customers, gathering information and checking conditions on the ground, to allow budgeting for industrial energy efficiency projects. He will be the support in the budgeting of turnkey projects. At the same time, he will have a relevant role in detailing engineering procurement (design execution), equipment, develop project schedules and monitor their progress and liaise with customers.

Project Engineer Junior Responsibilities

Ability to articulate program offerings and identify potential energy efficiency improvements to customers

Collaborate with customers and trade allies to obtain required project documentation

Conduct electric energy assessments (walk-throughs)

Develop and manage the pipeline of energy efficiency projects

Conduct pre- and post-installation inspections for validation purposes as needed

Generate leads from incoming customer inquiries, customer meetings, industry events, awareness of new construction in given territory and other outreach practices

Collaborate with internal management, operations, and engineering teams to deliver a customer-centric experience

Engage appropriate trade groups and associations

Coordinate with operations and project coordination staff to populate internal database to provide accurate project forecasting/market knowledge

Maintain an appropriate positive and mutually beneficial and long business relationship with business, professional groups, and industry stakeholders in support of Ewen and Helexia’s broad energy efficiency objectives

Qualification & Education

Bachelor’s degree in Energy, Environment, Engineering, or other related field

Skills

Desire to participate in energy efficiency and sustainability projects

Solution orientated problem solver

Ability to learn industry practices, techniques, and standards in the energy efficiency field

Proven ability to establish and maintain a professional rapport with market stakeholders, customers, and trade allies

Self-motivated, excellent problem-solving abilities and proven decision-making skills

Strong customer and results orientation

Excellent computer skills including but not limited to basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics and/or other CRM programs (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Adobe, etc.)

Fluency in English, spoken and written (required), French is a plus

Availability for professional travels nationwide and abroad for short periods of time

Experience

1 to 3 years of work experience in Sales, Energy and/or Electric Utility positions
